How Volunteers Help
At the SAGE Center, volunteers play a vital role in helping us inspire curiosity, celebrate agriculture and innovation, and serve our community. Whether you’re passionate about education, enjoy working with people, or want to support community events, volunteering with the SAGE Center is a meaningful way to get involved and make an impact.
Our volunteers support a wide range of activities—from assisting with school visits and hands-on STEAM programs to helping during community events, workshops, and special programs. Volunteers help create a welcoming, engaging experience for visitors of all ages while gaining valuable skills and connections along the way.
Opportunities may include:
- Assisting with museum operations and guest services
- Supporting school field trips and educational programming
- Helping with SAGE Saturdays, workshops, and special events
- Event setup, activities support, and guest engagement
Background Check Requirement
To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our visitors, all volunteers are required to complete a background check prior to volunteering.
